One of the hardest things for some people is acknowledging their own accomplishments.
Perhaps it’s because so many of us were told as children that to do so was egotistical or bragadocious. But, I distinctly remember the times I was so excited about something I had accomplished I just wanted to tell everyone about it.
Not to brag, just to celebrate!
That’s what we’ll be talking about tonight…celebrating our wins, accomplishments and self. We’ll be talking about the power of loving yourself and openly expressing gratitude and self-praise for all you are.
Join me at 9pm for an open discussion about the power of acknowledging – yourself and others.

I just wanted to share my thoughts on this concept. For about 2 years now I have been doing a “gratitude and attitude” notebook. Everyday (ideally) i list 10 items I am grateful for in my life and on the next page I list 10 things..
“I praise and acknowledge myself for” and I list an attribute, character, virtue – call it what you will but it’s the thing inside of me to cause me to do something. ie. I acknowledge and praise myself for my consistency in my visualization this past week.
Well, a funny thing has happened this week….. instead of acknowleding and praising myself, I wrote – I love and approve myself. It’s one of my affirmations and I guess it’s now stuck in my subconscious that I truly love and approve myself not just acknowledge and praise myself. Very mnior thing but very MAJOR thing at the same time!
I look forward to continuing to grow with each one of you.
